Target Audience

The target audience for my music magazine is roughly from the age of 16-20 year olds, however, whoever is interested in the music/like the look of the magazine could purchase it. A variety of male and femal wpuld be interested in my magazine.

Cover Shot

This image is beautiful! This would be the ideal cover shot for my music magazine, simple yet really makes a statement! the lighting looks really good on her face and the clothing with the red give her the edge and personality. I may consider this shot if i wasn't already doing a close up.

Genre

The genre of my magazine doesn't really have a label on it, my artist writes her own music which fits into the category of indie pop. The cover of my magazine will really demonstrate that she is a new British artist.

This magazine is presented in red, black and white which gives a rock feel to it and isnt something that you would see in the charts. The font in particular presents this with a rough look to it that would be quite appealing to those interested in that music.

This top of the pops magazine really demonstrates that its to a younger audience who are into music in the charts and boys, the font is young looking and appealling to younger girls in particular, along with front cover, every young girls prince charming and the colour.. pink!

Unique Selling Point

My USP is different to others based on the fact that it's a British femlae artist who writes her own music. She is of a younger generation and there is nobody in the music industry today who is quite like her, with her own style and a voice with a touch of Kate Nash she's really not like anybody else.

During production work - don't forget to post your progress ( with pictures of you working if you can) on here weekly.

Layout your pages and book your studio time for the week and the cameras for the weekend for your location shoots.
